Giant Beaver Ice Age Poster, Vintage Natural History Wetland Wall Art Printable

Bring a piece of the Ice Age into your space with this vintage natural history poster of the Giant Beaver (Castoroides ohioensis), one of the largest rodents of its time, drawn in a classic engraving style on warm parchment-toned paper with an elegant gold border.

This artwork pairs fine pen-and-ink detail, huge front teeth, a broad scaly tail and a calm wetland pond lined with cattails in a museum-plate layout. The animal’s name, its scientific name and the note “Extinct approx. 10,000 years ago” are printed at the bottom of the poster. It is a timeless wall art piece for nature lovers, paleontology fans and vintage interiors.
